About OkruDownloader
What OkruDownloader is, how it works, what it deliberately refuses to do, and the limits worth knowing before you rely on it.

OkruDownloader does one thing: it takes a link to a public OK.ru video and gives you that video's files, in the resolutions OK.ru has made, to save to your device. That is the whole product. There is no account, no app to install, no library and no premium version.
Why it exists
OK.ru — Odnoklassniki — hosts an enormous amount of video, much of it found nowhere else, and it gives viewers no simple way to keep a copy for watching offline. The usual workarounds are screen recorders that cost quality and time, or download sites that bury the file under pop-ups, fake buttons and redirects.
None of that is necessary. Saving a public video comes down to reading its page and pointing your browser at the file OK.ru already serves, and it can be done without collecting anything about the person asking.
How you use it
- Paste a link. Standard video links, mobile links, odnoklassniki.ru links, and links to group posts, profile posts and live broadcasts are accepted; the link formats guide explains each one. Anything else is refused before a lookup runs.
- Choose a resolution. The video's title, preview and available resolutions are listed — whatever OK.ru provides, commonly from 240p to 1080p.
- Save it. Your browser downloads the file directly from OK.ru. If your browser opens and plays the video instead, use its own save option, such as "Save video as", or a long press on mobile.
The privacy policy sets out what happens to your information along the way, including what OK.ru receives.
What we refuse to do
Nothing is stored
The link you paste is used for one lookup and not kept. Videos stay on OK.ru and are never copied here, so there is no archive to leak, sell or hand over.
Nothing is tracked
No accounts, no cookies, no analytics and no ad pixels. We keep no record of which videos you look up or save.
Nothing is altered
No re-encoding, no watermark and no repackaging. The file you save is the file OK.ru serves.
Nothing is gated
No sign-up wall, no download queue, no countdown timer, no ad before the file and no paid tier.
The limits, stated plainly
These are the boundaries worth knowing before you rely on the tool:
- Public videos only. Private, friends-only and closed-group videos need a signed-in OK.ru account to watch, and this tool never signs in to anything.
- One video per link. A lookup returns the first video on the page. If a post contains several, open the one you want and copy its own link.
- Live broadcasts usually cannot be saved while running. Wait for the recording, if the broadcaster publishes one.
- Resolution is set by the upload. Only the resolutions OK.ru created can be offered. A video uploaded in low quality stays low quality.
- Speed is OK.ru's speed. The file comes straight from OK.ru's servers, so it downloads as fast as they and your connection allow. We remove the obstacles around a download, not the limits on it.
- It depends on a service we do not control. When OK.ru changes how its pages are built, lookups can fail until the tool is updated.
Who we are not
Not affiliated with OK.ru
Using what you download
A public video is not a licence. Whoever made it owns it, and downloading a copy does not change that. Saving your own uploads, and keeping videos you have permission to keep, is what this tool is for. If you did not make a video and were not licensed to use it, republishing or monetising it can infringe the creator's rights. Our guide on whether downloading OK.ru videos is legal covers this in more detail.
How it is run
No ads, no affiliate links, no sponsored content and no paid tier. How what we publish is checked, corrected and funded is set out in the editorial policy.
